India Bridal Fashion Week (IBFW) is one of the highest profile fashion event in India and one of the “big four” fashion week being held in the country. It’s the most opulent and the only fashion week in India, which is held in Mumbai and Delhi and showcases the best of the trends and designs in bridal couture by leading fashion designers. IBFW has become the most aspired destination for India’s top designers, couture lovers, influential individuals, legacy brands, celebrities, socialites and film stars.
The fifth edition of Aamby Valley India Bridal Fashion Week 2013 that took place at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai, saw some fabulous statement pieces and a unique marriage (pun intended) of traditional and contemporary styles.
The Ambey Valley India Bridal Fashion Week saw the presence of several Bollywood and television stars who kept their best fashion foot forward on the last day of the grand finale.
While Abhishek Bachchan arrived on the ramp for designer Rohit Bal, Genelia and Riteish Deshmukh had turned showstoppers for Neeta Lulla on the last day of the bridal fashion week.
From Prachi Desai in a wine gown to Preeti Jhangiani going green on the red carpet, the last day had several B-town biggies in attendance.
Cricketer Harbhajan Singh’s alleged girlfriend Geeta Basra was spotted in a beautiful red dress at the event that complimented her hourglass figure to perfection. Sisters Sushma Reddy and Sameera Reddy also made a joint appearance at the show while Evelyn Sharma was a diva in pink.
TV actor Drashti Dhami of Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon fame also made a dignifying presence at IBFW donning the Zara couture. However, the celeb who almost went unrecognizable at the event was Ria Sen in a bulky makeup look.
